R Jayachandran, “Jaya”, is a Group Board Member of a large privately owned transnational Group headquartered in Singapore . The Group has diversified interests in office automation, information technology, manufacturing, logistics and trading, venture capital, IT services, software and supply chain logistics. The Group serves over 40 countries in Asia , Europe , and America , and the emerging markets, employing over 11,000 staff.
Jaya holds Board level responsibilities for two important core divisions of the Group and is based in Singapore .

With well over thirty years of international experience - two thirds of which have been at Group Board level – Jaya has been responsible for planning and launching many of the growth related projects of the Group on different continents.

He holds a degree in Commerce and is a Chartered Accountant. He has attended the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School .
 
   
 
    Mark H Daniell, Vice-Chairman  
   
Mark Daniell is Chairman of The Cuscaden Group, an advisory and investment business based in Singapore specializing in international strategy, private capital investment and transaction mandates. Prior to establishing Cuscaden in 2003, Mark was the Managing Director of Bain & Company ( Asia ) Inc and Director of Bain & Company Inc. He is presently the first Director Emeritus of Bain & Company in Asia .
He has also served as President of publicly listed investment company k1 Ventures and as a Director of Wasserstein Perella in London and Paris.

Mr. Daniell's first book, "World of Risk: Next Generation Strategy for a Volatile Era", was published by John Wiley and Sons, was selected as a Sunday Times (London) Business Book of the Week and is now available in multiple foreign language editions. His second book, "Strategy: A Step-by-Step Approach to the Development and Presentation of World Class Business Strategy" was published by Palgrave Macmillan in 2004.


Mr. Daniell is a graduate of the Harvard Law School (J.D.), Oxford University (University College, B.A./M.A.), Amherst College (B.A.), and the Phillips Exeter Academy. He has also attended the University de Paris IV- Sorbonne (D.E.F. 1er and 2e degrees) and the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris (C.E.P.).
 
   
 
    AS Thiyagarajan, Chief Executive Officer  
   
Thiyagarajan, “Thyagu”, is a seasoned banker with over three decades of experience in Treasury, Risk Management, Fund Management and Investment Banking. He was Treasurer at Canara Bank, India's second largest public sector bank. Subsequently, he became the Treasurer and Investment Bank Head-Indian Sub-continent of Citibank and later the Global Finance Area Executive - South Asia of the bank.
In that position he managed the Corporate banking, local currency and forex trading and corporate finance activities. During his tenure, Citibank was the dominant player in trading and capital markets and pioneered the Funds Management Activity. Thyagu left Citibank in 1993 as Vice President - Office of CFO, New York.

Thereafter, he was the Group Managing Director and Corporate Treasurer of Sinar Mas Group, Jakarta, Indonesia and served on the group board. Here he managed a large USD loan portfolio, created a hedging plan and raised and restructured debt. He was instrumental in creating a pan-Asia strategy for the group.

Since 1995 he has been the Managing Director of Aquarius Investment Advisors Pte Ltd, Singapore an investment advisory and funds management firm, advising large pool of international investors with specific focus on Non-resident Indians and India investments. He brings to the table his unique knowledge of India, its financial markets and excellent corporate relationships built during his 30 years of investment banking experience.

Thiyagarajan holds a M.Sc. from Madras University. He has attended the Programme for Management Development at the Harvard Business School.
